Deliver your “hook” in the first 5 seconds or a viewer will loose interest. Next, highlight the most important things about you, and always have a call to action. The success of a video cover letter is really all about the story you are telling and how well you deliver it. Your main goal should be to have a potential employer want to know more and contact you for an interview.
I’ve been using video cover letters since 2013, and they’ve helped me and my clients land jobs. I share about what I’ve learned works and what doesn’t work with my email subscribers.
Once a month I send out a newsletter with tips on creating video cover letters and on how to ace interviews and land a job. Click here to join the list. Don’t worry, I won’t spam you. Plus, you can unsubscribe at any time.
